My name is Melissa. My friends call me Mel. My dad calls me Buffy. I make
art almost every day. It makes me happy. My husband, Charlie, is my favorite person. He looks like a
rock star, he makes the best coffee and he has a large amount of swagger.
We have four funny, sparkly
kids. They are nice kids.
The magnificent ways of God captured my heart a few years ago and I've never recovered. Jesus Christ is my
only sunshine in this world of utter darkness. He is why I

I blog mostly about life, cooking organic food, homeschooling, art projects, photography, failed attempts at sewing without a pattern, dates with my husband, parties, coffee, running, fashion, failed attempts at gardening, laughing, decorating my house... just regular everyday things.
